iPhone 15 series: New bumper case leak seems to confirm 2023 design updates
Apple is increasingly likely to hype its 2023 crop of iPhones as its most advanced flagship smartphones of all time due to a potentially significant change of charging port. Nevertheless, they are expected to look much the same as their respective 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro and Pro Max forebears, particularly as a result of their latest leak.
It consists of a slew of images showing accessories with a very familiar design, some of which appear to be from third-party OEMs while others might come direct from Apple itself. Regardless, they all exhibit the familiar square camera hump, even if it has become even more pronounced, particularly in the case of those allegedly compatible with the "15promax".
More interestingly, most of the cases in these images support a new physical button in addition to the usual power and volume controls: one, moreover, that seems to replace the typical mute switch cut-out. Therefore, it seems the 15 series might indeed have a first-gen Action Button.
It might also have an inaugural 2TB SKU, according to Naver user YEUX1122. It might be available in the 15 Pro and Pro Max - although this reiterated detail might help explain the presence of a new "15 Ultra Leather Case (with MagSafe)" found among @MajinBuOfficial's new case photos.
